Reconciliation Choir
Music, that universal language that over time has been used to sing about lovers, the earth, work and other human feelings, has become an instrument of reconciliation and forgiveness.
Victims of the armed conflict and peace signatories from the different armed groups decided to use this language to heal the scars that the hostilities left them, and they decided to join together to learn music, create a choir and prepare songs.
The choir, which was born in July 2019, is made up of victims and people in the process of reintegration, and is seen under the direction of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra as a project in which the labels of victims or ex-combatants do not fit, the origin or the difficulties that its members have gone through does not matter.
