The Artistic Committee of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra is a permanent body of the corporation in charge of advising the Executive Directorate on the artistic affairs of the Orchestra. He is in charge of suggesting programs, directors and soloists as well as drawing attention to the artistic performance of each of the members of the Orchestra for evaluation by the Administration.

The Artistic Committee will be made up of: The Principal or Assistant Conductor, the Concertmaster, a delegate musician from the Orchestra, and the Executive Director. The person in charge of the Corporation's Artistic Programming Subdirectorate will be permanently invited to the committee. The committee will meet ordinarily once a month.

Paragraph: The delegate musicians of the orchestra and the Executive Directorate will have a period of one year.

Committee functions:

• Submit suggestions for guest conductors and soloists for the Corporation's annual seasons.
• Give concept about the performance of soloists and guest conductors.
• Notify the Executive Management about the artistic and disciplinary performance of the Orchestra's musicians.
• Advise the Executive Directorate in the design, implementation and launch of new educational and community outreach programs.
