Concert United Orchestras I Brass and percussion of America

The Medellín Philharmonic and EAFIT Symphony orchestras are joining forces for the first time this year in a concert that will tour the music of the American continent, with works for brass and percussion ensembles. An invitation to enjoy brilliant and majestic music at home under the direction of Cecilia Espinosa and Juan Pablo Valencia.

For this journey through the continent's music, the two orchestras joined together in a gesture of mobilization through art and culture. A repertoire and a joint effort to encourage the recognition and promotion of diversity, to build a city and citizenship around art. The concert was initially scheduled for Saturday, May 8. It was rescheduled to call for reflection and silence. It will be broadcast this Saturday, May 22 through the virtual channels of Filarmed and the EAFIT Symphony.
