Handel Diomedes, the sublime of classical music

Versatile Orchestra Director with extensive experience in performing and teaching at various universities in the country. He served as Assistant Conductor of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra from August 2013 to August 2018. He is currently the Principal Conductor of the Caldas Symphony Orchestra, with which he has achieved notable development at an artistic and executive level.

Academic training

Maestro Diomedes is a Master with Meritorious Mention in Symphonic Conducting from the National University of Colombia. Graduate in Music from the University of Caldas. He graduated as an Orchestra Conductor with a specialty in Opera in Vienna, Austria. (2012)

He has collaborated with orchestras in Mexico, Venezuela, Austria, Spain and Colombia, where he performed various concerts, including several symphonic and opera premieres that have obtained excellent comments from specialized critics.
