Concert Tribute to maestro Alberto Correa

He Medellín Polyphonic Study, Coro & Orquesta, our orchestra, Medellín Cultural and its Metropolitan Theater, and the IUVENTUS Choir of the Sirenáica Foundation have joined forces to commemorate the 80 years of life and 70 years of musical activity of Maestro L. Alberto Correa C, presenting a special program with Symphony No. 9 “Choral” in D minor Op. 125, by the great German maestro Ludwig van Beethoven.

This is an excellent opportunity to pay a heartfelt tribute to the maestro while he is still alive and to show our eternal gratitude to someone who has dedicated his entire life to the creation of Symphony Orchestras, the formation of Chamber Music Groups and to preserving choral singing throughout Colombia; with the foundation, support and maintenance of the most important symphonic choral music group and the oldest of the choirs in Colombia: the Polyphonic Studio of Medellín.

This recognition of the maestro will take place in a concert at the Metropolitan Theater "José Gutiérrez Gómez", next July 2 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for this concert can be purchased at Tu Boleta and its points of sale, and at the theater box office.
