Our first international tour with the full orchestra will take place in Argentina with the support of the Proantioquia Cultural Promotion Agency.

  • Paradise According to Maria – Juan David Osorio (Colombia). Inspired by the novel María, by Jorge Isaacs.
  • Caribbean landscapes for string orchestra by Ludsen Martinus (Colombia). A work premiered at the XVI Cartagena International Music Festival.
  • Double concerto for viola, bandoneon, and orchestra. Daniel Ruggiero (Argentina).

An experience that explores musical roots and human emotions. Includes Bränningar, inspired by the Swedish sea, and Mahler's song cycle based on poems by Rückert, where he expresses love, nature and transcendence. It ends with the Unfinished Symphony by Schubert, supplemented with drafts of the third movement and a Entracte of Rosamunde.

 

The Four Seasons: Vivaldi Reimagined. Metropolitan Theater, 7:00 p.m.

This concert reinterprets The Four Seasons Vivaldi's key work of the Baroque and programmatic music, fusing it with Afro-Latin rhythms. Venezuelan violinist Alexis Cárdenas will be the soloist and conductor.
