Candidate for principal director of Filarmed

Known for his eclectic and fascinating programs, conductor and pianist David Greilsammer is recognized as one of the classical world's most daring and adventurous artists. Praised as a musician who is never afraid to take risks on stage, he has created some of the most daring musical projects today.

In addition to presenting innovative performances, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, David Greilsammer is also celebrated for his interpretations of Mozart. He has performed all of Mozart's piano sonatas in Paris in a one-day “marathon.”

Since 2013, David Greilsammer has served as musical and artistic director of the Geneva Camerata. He has performed as guest conductor/soloist with the BBC Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, Beijing National Symphony, Mexican National Symphony, Jerusalem Symphony, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony and the Medellín Philharmonic, among others.

This year he released a new album with the Naïve record label with his piano recital “Labyrinth” which was described by the press as ingenious, fascinating and brave, in addition to awarding him more than ten international awards.
