This album achieved that for the first time Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra was nominated for the 2016 Latin Grammy in the category Best Tango Album.

This album comes from two concerts performed by the Medellín Philharmonic, one at the Airport Enrique Olaya Herrera, in Plaza Gardel, on June 24, 2015, and others - where the album was recorded - on the 27th of the same month in the Teatro Metropolitano, under the musical direction of Gonzalo Ospina, the symphonic arrangements of Andrés Linetzky and the incomparable voice of Ariel Ardit.
