Recognized as one of today's most audacious conductors and pianists, David Greilsammer has performed in the most prestigious concert halls and festivals internationally. In recent years, it has given life to a wide variety of innovative projects, world premieres, as well as innovative encounters between different arts and cultures.
Released by Naïve, his most recent solo album, Labyrinth, has received numerous international awards and has been described by the press as “radical, “brave” and “amazing”. His other recordings as a conductor and pianist, published by Sony Classical, have received many honors, including from The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Sunday Times.
Acclaimed for his interpretations of Mozart, David Greilsammer has performed all of Mozart's Piano Sonatas in a one-day “marathon” in Paris, as well as playing and conducting all twenty-seven of Mozart's Piano Concertos in nine consecutive concerts in Geneva.
David Greilsammer has appeared as a conductor/soloist with the BBC Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Hamburg Symphony, Orchester Verdi di Milano, Beijing National Symphony, the Israel Symphony, the Radio France Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, and many others.
Since 2013, David Greilsammer has served as musical and artistic director of the Geneva Camerata, one of the most eclectic and adventurous orchestras in the world. He has performed with the Geneva Camerata at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Elbe Philharmonic in Hamburg, the Champs-Elysées Theater in Paris, the Monte Carlo Opera, the 92Y in New York, the Musashino Hall in Tokyo and the Center des Seoul Arts.
In 2022, David Greilsammer was appointed Principal Conductor and Music Director of the Medellín Philharmonic in Colombia, one of Latin America's leading orchestras and winner of a Grammy Award.
Always revealing fascinating programs, his solo piano recitals have been performed at numerous venues and festivals, including Lincoln Center in New York, Kennedy Center in Washington, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall in London, Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Verbier Festival, Oriental Art Center in Shanghai, Venice Biennale and National Theater of Namibia

Manuel López-Gómez He has had successful performances in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia with various orchestras: the Washington National Symphony, the Detroit Symphony, the Simón Bolívar Symphony, the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the hr- Frankfurt Sinfonieorchester, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, Gothenburg Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Moscow Philharmonic, Guangzhou Symphony, Busan Philharmonic, Seoul Philharmonic, The Pacific Symphony and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra have recognized him as an energetic conductor with visionary and inspiring abilities.

In addition to his symphonic work, Manuel is passionate about opera. He directed and recorded for Universal Music Italia the world premiere of the newly orchestrated opera Atahualpa of Carlo Enrico Pasta in Peru, and shortly after, he returned to this country for a Romeo and Juliette by Gounod with Juan Diego Flórez. Additionally, he was invited by the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro for a production of Il Viaggio a Reims and by the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra for The Nozze di Figaro.
For more than 15 years, Manuel has collaborated with Gustavo Dudamel on symphonic projects and operas such as La Bohème, The Traviata and Mahler's Eighth Symphony in Caracas; Don Giovanni in Los Angeles; Brahms's Paris Symphonies and West Side Story at the Salzburg Festival with Cecilia Bartoli. During the 2017/18 season, she shared with him the musical direction of a new production of La Bohème at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
The musical training of young people is, in his opinion, one of the main pillars within his profession, something that he learned from a very young age when he began his musical studies of violin, piano, chamber music, composition and orchestra conducting at “El Sistema " from Venezuela. In that sense, he dedicated himself to this work as Musical Director of the Bogotá Youth Philharmonic Orchestra between 2020 and 2023.
Since 2024, he has served as Associate Director of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra.
Alberto Correa Cadavid

Teacher Alberto Correa Cadavid He was born in Medellín on July 2, 1942. Music seduced him from the age of 9 when he met the Tomás Luis de Victoria Choir. In 1956 he entered the Yarumal Seminary where he fell in love with Gregorian music and founded a male choir. Five years later he left the seminary and entered the University of Antioquia to study medicine.
While studying medicine he created several choral groups, such as the Ancient Music Group, the Ciudad de Envigado Choir and the Male Choir of the Medellín Polyfonic Studio. After obtaining his degree as a doctor, he worked in hospitals in several municipalities of Antioquia. He then worked in his private practice for 42 years during which he never abandoned music.
Alberto Correa founded in 1983 the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra and he was its director until 2013. In those 30 years he directed nearly 3,000 concerts, operas, zarzuelas and oratorios. Maestro Correa has received an Honoris Causa Doctorate from the University of Antioquia, an Honoris Causa Bachelor's Degree in music from the Adventist University and the 2013 Life and Work Award from the Ministry of Culture.
