Light up the Novenas with the Hispanos Filarmónico

Light up the Novenas with Los Hispanos Filarmónico: music, dance and tradition

The Filarmed-Comfama Alliance and Los Hispanos return to the stage with an unforgettable performance that marked the first edition: a concert full of emotions, memories and celebration. This December 16th, right at the beginning of the Christmas novenas, get ready to experience a unique night in which philharmonic music meets tropical rhythm in a show that celebrates tradition and the joy of December.

In September, the audience thrilled, sang and danced to the greatest hits of this iconic group that, in 2024, celebrates 60 years of history. Grandparents, grandchildren, entire families filled the theatre with a festive atmosphere that now returns at an even more special time: December.

Under the direction of María Camila Barbosa, the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra and Los Hispanos will perform songs that have accompanied us for generations such as Macondo, Adonay, Boquita de caramelo and Cariñito, among other songs, in a symphonic format that combines nostalgia with the grandeur of orchestral music.

Composer Julio César Sierra, who is in charge of the arrangements, describes this project as “a tribute to the true urban sound of Medellín in the 60s and 70s.” The chucu-chucu rhythms, once a local phenomenon, now shine on a stage that unites the past with the future.

A party for the Novenas

The December atmosphere will be the star. With this proposal, Filarmed and Comfama not only offer a musical show; they also revive the spirit of unity and celebration that characterizes this time of year. It will be a night to sing, dance and create unforgettable memories with songs that connect us with our roots and traditions.
